Born in Penang in year 1982, Cheng Yen Pheng graduated from Dasein Academy of Art, Kuala Lumpur with a diploma in Fine Arts.

 

28-years old artist, had participated in a number of group exhibitions and winning several awards and competitions, as well as exhibited both locally and internationally. The most recent and are the exhibition New Object(ion) currently held at Gallery PETRONAS. She is also one of the recipients for Malaysian Emerging Artist Awards, which she received in 2009.

 

Internationally, Cheng Yen Pheng had exhibited her works in Vietnam and South Korea. She participated in Seoul International Art Festival at the seoul City Art centre, South Korea. Her works are also exhibited the exhibition Hanoi Welcome, at Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.

 

Cheng Yen Pheng currently resides in Kuala Lumpur.
